  • This concentrator is the state of the art in microfiltration. Unlike centrifuge concentrators, this particular design allow the highest ratio concentration at the lowest price. Crossflow filtration (also known as tangential flow filtration) is different from dead-end filtration in which the feed is passed through a membrane or bed, the solids being trapped in the filter and the filtrate being released at the other end. It is very compact and available in many sizes. The concentration ratio depends on the process time. Ratio is usually about 10:1 or higher.
